(More customer reviews)I recently purchased this to replace an older 8 port SMC switch which I've had in my home for over 5 years. This unit has 16 ports of 10/100/1000 and an internal power supply (no wall wart). There is no fan in the device which means that it is completely silent (great for home). There is no configuration or management of the device so it is entirely plug and play.
