(More customer reviews)Typically when you order cat 5 cableing there are connectors already on it up untill you hit about 100 feet, After that they assume that you are setting up a network and are going to attach the wire to plug boxes. As for what this cable was intended for it works like every other network cable and is a pretty average price for cable in my area at about .16 cents a foot. So if you want to run a in line network in a normal house or small business then this should be sufficent for several computers when cut.

The cable gets daily use and works well. I'm not sure what else there is to say about a cable - especially one you don't recall purchasing. However, I can say it's still black, still works, and I'd purchase it again (since it apparently was a separate purchase). Six feet is not very long - but it works well for components placed close together.

Ultra Low Loss Cable is designed to transmit the maximum signal to your antennas. 1/2 inch LMR-400 cable meets Military Specifications with silver foil and silver coated copper conductors for less signal loss in runs up to 200 feet.. BUT it is not USB 2.0 As it happens, I'm OK since what I'm using it for, the devices on the far end are USB 1.1 but I purchased for future proofing, but this was advertised as USB 2.0 when it isn't. Pretty poor. As a USB 1.1 device for $35 delivered over 150 ft - no problems and a deal - I'd still have bought it - just a con to say USB 2.0

I have to buy more cables before I can use the router I purchased at the same time from Amazon.com. Between shipping problems and misleading photography, I don't believe I'll be purchasing anything but books from Amazon.com from now on. At least with books I know what I'm getting.
