This box connects to the network via Ethernet, and is always ready to establish a connection. It is not necessary to have a 'connection sharing' computer always on to dial out. Physical installation was very simple: connect the box to the network and power, and connect a modem to it. The software is simple to install and configure if all you want to do is share a connection. It also offers very advanced features. It will stay in place even after I get a cable or DSL connection, as a back-up.

The PN8228/IR8228 from Hawking is the ideal solution for Home Office and Small Office Internet Sharing Severs.
