(More customer reviews)We have this model at work for our small 10-client network on Win2003 Server and 1/2 Vista and 1/2 XP. I was trained on how to configure it by our telecom company and their network engineer. They installed it as part of a Telecom Digital phone system replacement. It has worked well for several months. The McAfee Total Business Scan Software that works with it does a fabulous job and stays in the background.
With all the bug and April fools hype I purchased one for home. I do so much online now that I need the added protection. Would recommend it to anyone with intermediate IT experience installing and configuring. Not for beginners; have an IT friend install and configure it as many settings will conflict and overlap with each other if you don't know what you are doing. Not too advanced to install and administer; but it has advanced features if you get into web-hosting and streaming video from your own website.
Would highly recommend. We had the Netgear version of the device but I returned it to the store where I bought it. Just did not work as well as the Sonicwall. (10 years experience as an IT Administrator).
